THE EXPERIENCE
The Oregon Bowl is an invite only bowl game. All players selected have been evaluated through nominations and film. Nominees are hand picked by our Oregon Bowl selection committee. We receive THOUSANDS of nominations each year, being selected is a BIG DEAL!
Players will meet and play with other all star athletes from every corner of the state!
Teams are not divided by geographical boundaries or school divisions, but by grade. Athletes will play with and against other all stars in the same grade level from every corner of the state!
This means players from the Portland/Metro area could potentially be on the same team as players from Southern Oregon and coastal schools and 1A athletes will play along side 6A athletes! Only the best from every level in Oregon will compete!
The Oregon Bowl is more than just a football game. Not only do the athletes play the sport in which they excel, but will receive high quality coaching and meet, practice and play with the best athletes in the state.
We will spend 4 days and 3 nights on a college campus! Staying in the dorms, eating at the cafeteria and practicing on college facilities. This experience will create life long memories and friends for all of the athletes involved.
Each night athletes will get the opportunity to listen to dynamic guest speakers from former NFL stars, professional athletes, motivational speakers or experience great entertainment from past America’s Got Talent performers to animal experts!!
Athletes from 143 different high schools in Oregon have played in the Oregon Bowl. Over 100 former Oregon Bowl athletes have gone on to play college football at the D1, D2, D3 and NAIA level in Oregon and around the country. Several have been awarded All State, All Conference and Team MVP honors as well as won countless State Championships.
In 2022 69 athletes from programs who played in the State Championship games played in this event at some point in their career. Some serious studs have worn The Bowl jersey!
Over 100 former Oregon Bowl athletes are currently playing college football and other college sports. The Oregon Bowl is TRULY the best of the best in the state!
RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES OF OREGON
Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Oregon & SW Washington provides access to medical care, a home away from home, and a community of support for seriously ill or injured children and their families.
When a family’s world is flipped upside down by a scary diagnosis or medical challenge for their child, and they find themselves needing to be far from home for treatment, RMHC provides so much more than access to medical care – we offer a community of support and loving home away from home to every family that needs it. Our four beautiful Oregon Houses welcome families traveling from all over the state, country, and world with seriously ill or injured children to receive lifesaving or life-changing medical care.
Families arrive at our doors for all kinds of reasons. From premature babies needing to grow, to chronic pediatric illnesses, to surprise cancer diagnoses, to accidents that happen in the blink of an eye, no family’s journey looks the same. But no matter the diagnosis, each family is treated with kindness, empathy, and respect. And most importantly, they are welcome here for as long as they need, completely free of charge.
More than simply providing a roof over the heads of our guests, we believe in extraordinary hospitality and are proud to have demonstrated exceptional care since opening our doors in 1984. We provide not only sparkling-clean rooms and community spaces, but also fun and engaging family programming, fully stocked pantries, and homemade dinners made with love.
We are humbled to know that with every free night, we give respite and relief. Our families never have to worry about where their next meal will come from, or where they will lay their head at night, and instead can focus on what’s most important – the health of their child.

Oregon Bowl Game Using New Innovations, Making Youth Sports Safer
Oregon Bowl Safety Officer Dr. Brion Benninger MD. MBChB. MSc. -Sports Medicine, is the Professor of Medical Innovation, Technology & Research at Western University of Health Sciences, Oregon campus osteopathic medical school in Lebanon, Oregon.
Brion works with companies which design novel medical products and helps develop or test them using conventional and innovative techniques and concepts. He involves medical students in this process to stimulate and nurture their creativity and interest in participating in medical research to improve the healthcare of our communities.
He is the Director of ultrasound for the Oregon campus and recently patented an ultrasound finger probe system and trains medical students and physicians the benefits of ultrasound.
In 2023 the medical team attending the practices and games used handheld wireless GE Vscan air ultrasound probes to provide instant feedback from injuries to aid the Athletic Trainers and expedite any referrals to appropriate physicians. Having the GE Vscan air ultrasound probes on the field during practices and games will provide another layer of safety that no other youth programs in the nation are providing.
Dr. Benninger is excited to work with the Oregon All State Games to help the state of Oregon set the national/international standard for safety during 'collision type' sports such as football, rugby, lacrosse etc...
Words from our Medical Safety Team
”The Oregon Bowl Medical Safety Team’s sole purpose is to provide high quality health and safety to the student/athletes from the State of Oregon participating in this annual event. Practices will take place at Oregon State University twice daily including pre practice/game hydration, taping and advice, warmup, stretching, skills drills, tackling and concussion safety. The Medical Safety Team will consist of professional trainers from Samaritan Athletic Medicine Center at Oregon State University and Sports Medicine training medical students (Ethan Fulsher, Cailyn Cattell, Patrick Forcier, Mikayla Bradley) mentored by Dr. Brion Benninger from COMP-Northwest Sports Medicine Club. The Medical Safety team will be providing healthcare and monitoring the safety of the field surface, equipment and weather to ensure all student/athletes have a healthy and safe experience during practices and the game. The Medical Safety Team will have innovative on the field pocket ultrasound probes (GE Vscan air) to augment the medical care during practices and games. The ultrasound probes are wireless, waterproof, and can be used on the field or sidelines to help assess the Medical Safety Team. No other All State or All Star football games played in the other 49 states provide this innovation and additional support during practices and games.
Look forward to some enjoyable football by these student athletes!”
